The short explanation
Ion Cyclotron Resonance, usually shortened to ICR, is a resonance-based model studied within the broader field of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields.
In simple terms, the model proposes that selected combinations of signal frequency and magnetic-field conditions can be organized around the characteristic frequencies associated with electrically charged particles called ions.
Ambrosia brings this ICR-informed bioelectromagnetic approach into a complete general-wellness system. Its design combines a control console, an ergonomic full-body mat with an integrated coil and optional accessory applicators. LifeLift provides the system together with education, onboarding and ongoing support.
Scientific context
These terms are related, but they do not mean the same thing.
Living systems
Biomagnetism refers specifically to the magnetic fields produced by living organisms. For example, sensitive instruments can measure magnetic activity associated with the heart and brain.
The broader field
Bioelectromagnetics studies natural and applied electromagnetic fields in biology, including how externally generated fields interact with biological systems. This is the more accurate broad context for ICR research.

ICR through Ambrosia
The Ambrosia system turns a complex technical concept into a structured and supported user experience. Its physical design is intended to make each session comfortable and straightforward to operate.
Step 1
Each card contains a prepared sequence. Practitioners and supported home users receive education on system setup, program selection and responsible general-wellness use.
Step 2
The console, integrated into a padded support, reads the card and sends the programmed electromagnetic-field sequence to the coil inside the connected mat.
Step 3
The user lies on the ergonomic full-body mat while the sequence runs. Optional UNA and GEMINOS applicators provide additional one-area or paired-area setup options.
Understanding the distinction
Pulsed electromagnetic field, or PEMF, is a broad category. Ion Cyclotron Resonance describes a more specific, resonance-informed model within electromagnetic-field research. The distinction concerns how signal parameters are selected and organized; it does not establish that one approach is medically superior.
An umbrella term for systems that deliver pulsed electromagnetic fields. Devices can differ widely in waveform, frequency, intensity, timing and intended purpose.
A resonance-focused approach in which selected frequencies are considered in relation to ions and magnetic-field conditions. Not every PEMF system uses this model.
